Scope & Content

BookQibla is a price-comparison search for books on Islam and the Muslim world — Qur'an and tafsir, hadith, fiqh, seerah, Islamic history and thought, and fiction and memoir by Muslim authors. That is the material we want to help you find.
Where the results come from
When you search, we query general marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, AbeBooks, Bookshop.org) alongside a hand-curated list of specialty Islamic booksellers. The marketplaces have no concept of our subject — they simply return what matches your words. We apply an automatic relevance filter to drop listings with no Islamic or Muslim-world signal, and we screen out non-book merchandise, but the filter is imperfect: an occasional off-topic, mislabelled, or low-quality listing can still appear.
What a listing here does and doesn't mean
A listing on BookQibla means a retailer is offering that item and it matched your search. It is not an endorsement, a recommendation, or a statement that the content is accurate or sound. We do not review the contents of the books we link to. Prices and availability come from the retailers and can be out of date.
Results are assembled automatically from retailer catalogues. BookQibla does not endorse, condone, or vouch for the subject matter, claims, or conclusions of any book that appears in a search — including books that contradict one another, and books whose contents some readers will find objectionable. We recognise that people hold different beliefs, and nothing here is an attempt to promote one belief system over another.
This is deliberate, not an oversight. A book that runs contrary to a reader's convictions is often exactly the book another reader needs — to study a position honestly, to cite it accurately, or to answer it with evidence. A catalogue that silently removed every text someone might object to would be less useful to students, researchers, and anyone trying to understand a viewpoint before responding to it. We would rather show what exists and let you judge it.
Two things we do filter: results with no plausible connection to Islam or the Muslim world (this is a subject-specific search tool, not a general bookshop), and listings we find to be fraudulent or misrepresented. If you think something here is genuinely harmful rather than merely disagreeable, please tell us using the link below.
Reporting a result
If you come across something that is off-topic, mislabelled, offensive, or misrepresents Islam, please tell us and we will look at tightening the filter or excluding it. Email info@bookqibla.com with the search you ran and the listing in question. Corrections and suggestions are welcome at the same address.
